Stefan Raab unveils a transformed appearance on Instagram just before his boxing match against Regina Halmich. The TV personality’s comeback is generating buzz with a series of intriguing social media posts.
“Beauty surgery” with comedic twist
Two days before his anticipated TV boxing match against former professional boxer Regina Halmich, Stefan Raab has shared a new social media video showcasing his alleged “beauty surgery” results. The 57-year-old TV host posted a clip on his official Instagram channel, continuing the narrative surrounding his TV comeback.
The video depicts Raab in the beauty clinic of “Dr. Lamborghini,” played by comedian Michael “Bully” Herbig, preparing for a surgical procedure. Herbig, donning artificially white teeth, announces, “Not easy, but doable.” The scene then shows various tools being used to tighten and remake “everything,” including Raab’s hair, nose, and teeth.
At the end of the video, “Bully” grins into the camera and declares, “It turned out quite pretty.” He appears to take a selfie with the seemingly completely renewed Raab, saying, “I’ll post this on Instagram right away.” Influencer Pamela Reif, who appears in the social media campaign as Raab’s fitness coach and brought him to the clinic, expresses her excitement: “It looks so beautiful.”
The big reveal: Real or staged?
Finally, Raab himself looks in the mirror, revealing his transformation. With full blond hair, a tightened and clean-shaven face, and gleaming white teeth, he says to the camera, still seemingly dazed: “Thank you, Dr. Lamborghini. It’s so beautiful.”
Previously, Raab had appeared in social media videos wearing a fat suit and sporting a beard, fueling speculation about his true fitness condition. In the comments of the latest clip, Pamela Reif posed the question: “Sooo beautiful, but have we now seen the real Stefan Raab?” The truth will likely only be revealed on Saturday evening.
The comeback event
RTL has announced a “boxing spectacle of superlatives” for September 14th. “The Clark Final Fight” will be broadcast live on TV and RTL+ starting at 20:15. The Cologne-based private broadcaster promises “national top stars for the entry, breathtaking show interludes, and lots of glamour and celebrity presence at the boxing ring.”
The event, taking place in the sold-out PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, will be hosted by Elton, a former intern of Raab’s. Frank “Buschi” Buschmann will provide commentary, while Laura Wontorra will report from the boxing ring. Following the match, an “Exclusiv Spezial: The Talk Afterwards” is planned, with Frauke Ludowig reporting live from the venue.
