The victim, a 20-year-old man from Grevenbroich, got into an argument with the driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision. The dispute escalated, resulting in the young man being stabbed with a knife. He died at the scene.
The suspect, identified as a 25-year-old Turkish national from the Heinsberg district, was arrested after the victim’s passenger managed to memorize the license plate of the attacker’s vehicle. An arrest warrant for manslaughter has been issued against the suspect, as confirmed by the police in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss on Thursday.
