Replacement buses face delays on Rheintalbahn route
The Deutsche Bahn (DB) has encountered problems with the bus replacement service for the closed Rheintalbahn route between Baden-Baden and Rastatt. According to a DB spokesperson, not all replacement services could be provided as planned on the first morning. The DB has apologized for the inconvenience and is making adjustments to increase service availability. As of now, there have been no reported complaints from passengers.
The Rheintalbahn route has been closed since Friday evening for construction work as part of the multi-billion-euro expansion project. The work includes connecting the southern end of the tunnel near Rastatt to the rail network and upgrades to switches, signal boxes, and signaling systems.

DB staff are available at replacement bus stops until 10:00 PM, and an information stand has been set up in Rastatt. Travelers are advised to use the journey planner on www.bahn.de and the DB Navigator app for the latest information.
