“Smart Mechatronics“, a company based on Emil-Figge-Straße in Dortmund, has been named the top employer in Germany, according to a recent assessment by the employer review portal “Kununu” and the weekly newspaper “Die Zeit.” The IT firm, which specializes in intelligent system networking, achieved this ranking due to excellent employee reviews.

An IT company in Dortmund is ranked the “best employer” of Germany in 2024.

Employees particularly appreciated the company’s approach to working with older colleagues and its commitment to equality. The company received an average rating of 4.9 stars for its image, work atmosphere, communication, team cohesion, and management behavior.

To qualify for the evaluation, companies needed to meet several criteria: having a German company profile on “Kununu,” a “Kununu” score of at least 3.5 stars, an employee score of at least 3.5 stars, a recommendation rate of at least 70 percent, and a minimum of 80 reviews, including eight in the last twelve months.
