The former couple, once speculated to be on amicable terms, is now locked in a bitter dispute. In an emotional and revealing interview with Spiegel, Cora discussed her life with Ralf, his coming out, and her feelings about the end of their marriage. The interview painted Ralf in a negative light, and although he had remained silent about the recent media coverage, he decided to respond to Cora’s claims by sharing a screenshot on Instagram. But Cora was quick to strike back.
In the Spiegel interview, Cora claimed that Ralf never introduced her to Étienne as his partner. She stated that she only found out about their relationship through Ralf’s coming out post on Instagram. To dispute this, Ralf shared a WhatsApp conversation on Instagram, in which Cora appeared to congratulate him and Étienne on their engagement, based on a ring she saw on one of their hands. However, this was a misunderstanding, as Étienne clarified that no engagement had taken place.
Cora accuses Ralf of violating her privacy rights
Ralf’s decision to post the chat did not sit well with Cora, who was furious. She shared his Instagram story on her own profile and criticized the former racer for his actions. “You’ve been suing me for ten years, accusing me of violating your personal rights, while you blatantly violate mine,” she wrote. “Instead of simply approaching me and telling me the truth, you choose to do this.”
Cora continued her tirade, stating, “You know very well that you only introduced Étienne to me as your assistant. That WhatsApp message to Étienne was my last attempt to at least get the truth from him. How pathetic must a person be to illegally publish private WhatsApp messages to cover up the truth?”
Cora and Ralf were married from October 2001 until February 2015. They have a son, David, who was born in 2001. Cora mentioned that she felt abandoned by Ralf after David’s birth. A few weeks ago, Ralf publicly came out, adding another layer to their already complex relationship.
Cora sought answers from Katie Price
Adding another twist to the story, Cora reportedly reached out to British media personality Katie Price, 46, for answers. Katie, who gained fame in the 1990s as a “Pit-Babe,” had been linked to Ralf in the past, sparking rumors of an affair between them. Although these rumors were never confirmed, they seemed to have left a lasting impact on Cora, leading her to contact Katie after her separation from Ralf.
