Werder Bremen player Sharon Beck, 29, has become the target of a vicious hate message on social media, seemingly due to her Israeli heritage. The club responded by posting the message unedited, taking a strong stand against online hate and showing full support for their player.
The shocking message began with, “Hey N***, just saw on FIFA that you’re Israeli,” and continued with, “I hope you and your family die out, and I wish your children a lifelong disability.” The identity of the sender was not censored by Werder Bremen, highlighting the seriousness of the issue.
In response, the club issued a firm statement: “We condemn these messages in the strongest terms. Hate, threats, and insults have no place here. Sharon, we stand firmly by your side.”
Werder Bremen takes action, police involved
Werder Bremen shared this post across their official social media channels, including the platform X, where they added the caption: “Cut the crap!” The Bundesliga club appears to be in contact with the police, as indicated by a response on X. When a user asked if the authorities would take action, tagging the Bremen police, they replied: “We are in contact with Werder Bremen regarding this matter.”
