A 27-year-old woman was seriously injured by knife stabs in the Bremen district of Neustadt. The suspect is a 31-year-old intoxicated man who is now on the run.
According to the police, the suspect, who is an acquaintance of the woman, allegedly rang her doorbell multiple times at her apartment on Hohentorsheerstraße on Friday. When she refused to let him in, he reportedly drew a knife and attacked her.
The woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but her life is not in danger. The suspect, who is known to the police, fled the scene, and officers are currently searching for him.
